This ROM hack takes the classic Pokémon Emerald framework and infuses it with elements from Pokémon X and Y, well-known for their introduction of Mega Evolutions and 3D-inspired mechanics. The result is a hybrid game that offers nostalgic 2D gameplay while embracing post-Gen 6 features, including enhanced graphics, new mega evolutions, updated movesets, and more complex storylines.

Firstly, they help players experiment with Pokémon, items, and features that might otherwise require extensive gameplay or trading. For example, with Pokémon cheats, you can instantly obtain rare and legendary Pokémon without hours of searching or battling.
